Pastured Poultry

We are so excited to have welcomed our first batch of pastured poultry to the farm! We desire to focus more on where our meats come from and what kind of life these animals live before they are harvested. Our animals are loved, respected and cared for on a daily basis by our family.
After researching, we chose a non-GMO Rainbow Ranger Broiler for our meat poultry. They are hatched from a line of chickens that have not been genetically modified and are fed an organic, non-GMO feed. We received them as days old chicks and placed them in our barn brooder. They will finish getting their feathers in the barn stall and then move directly to a chicken tractor on the pasture where they will finish out their days. We will move the tractor each day to be sure they have access to fresh grass and are not living on their waste.
Our current plan is to process these birds and offer them for sale by the whole chicken. We are excited to provide our community with mindfully grown meats and can’t wait to see how our community grows!
